Equipment: Burton Hail Boots, UK size 11.... and that's it so far Smile

Experience: On and off for the last 11-12 years, mainly off.

Competence: Plenty of 'all mountain' experience but not much park/kicker experience.

Resorts Visited: Snowshoe Mountain (Virginia, USA), Liberty Mountain (Virginia, USA), Mayerhoffen, Whistler, Meribel, Meribel, Chamonix, Megeve.... in that order

Local Slope: Hemel.

Goals: At this stage, improve my ollie height and general butter skillz, get comfortable going off kickers without falling backwards onto my arse, get some basic jib/rails experience.

Experience: Learned in November 2011 and been completely hooked since. Had 2 weeks away so far but looking forward to plenty more.

Competence: Confident on most reds, not really tried any blacks yet!

Resorts Visited: Zell am See, Les Arcs

Local Slope: Chill Factore

Goals: Get into freestyle. Not sure on big kickers but definitely flatland and jibbing.

Experience: 3 hours (of training) at Xscape... haha. Had an hour on the main slope in that time though.

Competence: I've pretty much bossed what I 'was allowed' to learn so far so my confidence is beeming! Smile

Resorts Visited: None yet, but I am looking at somewhere in the Alps region end/start of new year.

Local Slope: Castleford

Goals: Bit of everything really. Will be having a bash at freestyle after I'm done with my Level 3/4 at Castleford on Saturday. Also meet peeps on here, go board and just have fun!

Equipment: I have a few boards and a few pairs of bindings - I just keep buying them but at the moment I like my Ride Cue and Drake 50 binders buy have just got a Salomon Patrol and Burton Freestyle

Experience: 1 week holiday and time at Castleford

Competence: Poor

Resorts Bansko - loved it

Local Slope - Castleford (100miles but as local as it gets)

Goals: To get from poor to OKish

Just so you know I like beer but I can't see that anyone else has listed that although I am a Geordie so it is in our rule book.

Experience: Two weeks in the alps on seperate occaisions, and loads of trips to MK, but can't wait to improve and progress further.

Competence: Not very!! - I'll try anything, have already broken a collar bone and damaged my tricep ligaments in MK, but Im actually alot more comfortable riding a nice big mountain.

Resorts: Visited: Avoriaz 2012, Les Arcs 2007?.

Local Slope: MK

Goals: Butters, presses, frontside 1s ... (they kill me), 3s, boxes... the list goes on ... o and POWDER carves/turns.

Hoping to tag along at the summer bash, as I only have a very small group of boarding buddies, who don't go to the indoor slopes too often, the Winter Bash in Avoriaz in2013, could be a maybe also, but its early days yet.

Local Slope: Plymouth for dry, Tam is my closest snow, maybe dartmoor if weather permits next winter.

Competence: Can ride switch ok, though not long had the Burton board, only ridden it once so still adjusting to it (feels like a rocket compared to the boards hemel lend out).

Experience: Used to ski a bit. Tried boarding last year and have had about 10 days on mountains. 6 of those days I was riding with a broken wrist. Or should I say, trying to ride :s
Trying to get to snow sheds as much as possible. Recently enjoyed some Maverix and Definition training Smile

Competence: I'm getting there... deffo enjoying learning Wink

Experience: Been riding for '3 years' but probably got around 15 weeks worth of boarding in over that time - Combination of 2 holidays in France, 2011/12 Winter season in Whistler plus any riding I've done at Chill

Competence: Pretty much game for anything - riding the pow, piste or park!

Resorts Visited: Season in Whistler Canada, Holidays at Les Deux Alpes and Alp d'huez

Local Slope: Chill Factore

Goals: Progress with my freestyle and park riding

If anyone ever fancies going for a shred (preferably at Chill Factore as its the most commutable for me!!) Drop me an email - I don't have many mates into snowboarding and would be cool to go with people who love boarding as much as I do Smile

I can't believe I didn't see this thread until now!

Equipment: Rome Vinyl 149, Ride Bandita Contraband Bindings, 32 Prospect Boots (Also own Burton Lexa Bindings and Burton Moto Boots)

Experience: Learnt how to ski in 2005, by the winter of 2006 I was doing my first season. By the end of my first season I had switched to snowboarding. Three full winters (four months long) plus about five or so weeks away.

Competence: Fairly competent going down the mountain, can get down most things. Though despite my efforts , I'm still pretty crap at freestyle. I do love riding powder though!

Resorts Visited: Three seasons in Bad Gastein, Austria, (as well as another three trips back there) plus trips to Morzine, Hintertux, Werfenweng, Zillertal and Lengries.

Local Slope: Hemel

Goals: Just to have fun, oh and not to break anything (especially not ankle ligaments Razz)
