hey, try the ROME FLAG.
you can get them cheap on ebay at the mo i think. here is what rome say...#
The Flag is a piece in the collection tuned for mixing up lines: lines down couloirs, lines etched in fresh corduroy, and lines in the park. Through unique shaping and exclusive SDS technologies, the Flag proves that foot size doesn’t undermine fun. By matching our new PowerAmp Technology and targeted carbon fibers with a healthy sidecut and responsive Transition Zones, the Flag delivers quickness and pop for riders with 11+ feet.
What the Flag thinks is shradical: power; step-ups; cornice drops; backcountry lines; drag-free toe turns; quick turns; pow turns |

im the same as you! 11 feet and 6"2 and i've never owned a wide board!
you can get away with a normal one as long as your not doing crazyilly steep stuff! but saying that i've done black runs on my boards and been fine.
i currently ride a 155 k2 www and a 157 omatic extremo both sick freestyle boards
dont really know about entry level but i would get a 157 signal park! tsa still have some and sell them for like 175 now! but 2bf you might want a longer board i personally like them shorter
what has the shop said? |

would definatly get a wide there so much better
i only got 10s but would way rather have a mid wide with no overhang way better for stomping stuff as well. |

i got a wide signal og 159, its alright, got a ride dose 159 too, aint wide but fits my size 11's fine.
my mate bought an apo mtd 159, fits his size 11s too.
Wouldnt say u defo need a wide for 11's, all depends on how u set ur bindings |

| well ive looked at the width of boards... and tried to measure up where they would sit with my bindings with the boots in... and its the toe end of the boot that seems to kick out the most! |

| thats what i was gettin at. Little bit of compromise. I wore size 11 rental boots n never rode a wide rental board and never seemed to notice any toe drag. |

| The all important what kind of riding are you expecting to do? Lots of just in the dome? Lots of hols away? Freestyle or all mountain? You go shorter for freestyle and longer for all mountain/powder. |
