I just cannot decide on what new board to buy.

I had my heart set on a Artifact but am now having second thoughts. I have read they are not the best over kickers, does any one have any thoughts on this who has rode one?

Which park board would you guys recommend which is as good for both rails and kickers?

I currently have a Ride Havoc which is a great all round board but I want something with more pop for the park.

decisions, decisions!!

Cheers

There's tons of boards that do the job, not 'one' in-particular.
Everyone will have different opinions about which one to buy, best thing to do is demo one at a dome or dryslope.

Just dont go too soft, if you do you will lost the feeling of riding at speed and under full control. Too many people choose a wobbly soft deck as its easy for jibbing around, but their riding then suffers for it. The Artifact is fine if you just want to jib.
Our Teamrider Paz rides for Rome and chooses the Craft for riding everything.

Or have a look at the Forum Youngblood which is a touch on the softer side

or for an allround mid flex freestyle deck the Forum Destroyer:

i ride a forum destroyer peter line for everything - super nice on kickers, the best board i have ridden over kickers (just my opinion) and nice on rails as well. i ahve even used it for bombing about a mountain on the piste and it was good fun there as well.

but as has been said above, there is so much choice out there you are best to try and demo the boards you are thinking about and take it from there - everyone will ahve an opinion of their own!

Go with a Rome Graft. It presses just as easily as the Artifact, but is slightly stiffer so it can handle the big hits too.

i rock the artifact and like said above its just a super soft street deck, awesome on rails n boxes, but at speed and on kickers it aint that good! dont get me wrong it will do the job you want but there are better decks out there that will do the lot!

buying an artifect shows you really have made a decision about what you want to ride...and ive nevrr rgeretted it Smile
people do make a valid point, its a great indoor board the artifact but over things such as the gap kicker it can get a tad wobbly, can also knock confidence over kickers as it can shake
graft is a nice board, possibly try some slope testing, do TSA still do that?
lol

Thanks for your comments and given me somert to think about.

For 90% of the time I ride indoors and snoflex so the board is mainly for trashing about.

Will try and take out a Graft for a test, am also going to try this years www out.

Have a look at the these two, TECHNINE MFM Classis and TECHNINE JIB, both aimed at this kind of riding and perfect for UK slopes and both retail for £ 225 so not masses of your cash.

JIB is soft and more suited to rails and just hitting up everything, and the MFM classic is your all round park board, that you can basically ride everywhere.
