hi guys, im sorry if these are pretty obvious questions...
im looking to season canada 2012-2013 and just looking at applying for a visa now. i have a couple of questions that i cant seem to get an answer for from the canadian embassy website. first, are there a set number of visas? and if so how do i find out how many are left? second i was looking to work out there, but dont have a job lined up (which i understand you need to apply for a working visa).
do i apply for a residential visa and then internally apply for a working visa? i imagine there must be a few people who've been in this position before, any help would be really appreciated, i did a quick search but couldnt find anything relevant to this, and like i say the website doesnt shed much light on the matter. thanks.

there was only 5,350 visa's available this year , better get applying quick as theres only 144 left haha. Youd need to apply for the working visa and just find a job out there , thats what i'm doing anyways. heres the website for the applications and how many visas are left http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/un ... amp;view=d
