I got an XXL Westbeach one, and it fits at most like an XL, poss even a big L in some! |

I can see Westbeach doing themselves more harm than good in the long run with the sales they have.
Don't get me wrong, I love their 70% off bargain clear out sessions, but I'd never ever consider paying full price for any of their gear as I know it'll be a fraction of the cost around March/April.
I'd also be pretty p1ssed if I had paid £180 for a pair of their pants only to find them on sale at £60 a week later. |

Yeah, but how many people will find out. I'd wager a fair proportion of people just buy a jacket from a shop and that's the end of it. On the other hand I'm sure it will turn out to be a sort of self fulfilling prophecy. They put the big discounts on to make sure they can shift their unsold stuff, but as more people find out about the big discounts that might stop them from buying stuff until the sales.
I guess its a balancing act, and Westbeach hopefully know what they're doing in the long run! |

| If they have stock to shift, what's the alternative? As I've said a few times, many manufacturers and stockists over-ordered for this season before the credit crunch hit. They've been left with a heck of a lot of stuff. |

| No one's gonna be getting more deliveries of laast winters stock now, it really will be a case of clearing out as much stuff as possible I'd guess. |

as asked already, does anyone know how they size up? I was eyeing up a softshell jacket and dwr hoodie in XL, but snoozed and lost the crazy prices, and now they only have the softshell in L , im normally a L/XL in gear as im a 44" chest, do you think i would get away with a L in the jacket?
Greigroy if you have any Westbeach tops i'd be interested in your input as you know my sizing seeing as i have bought some of your Gear. |
