Would it not make more sence to actually delete the threads that dont follow the rules?
ie when someone doesnt put FS: if they're selling something, by locking it you dont know its locked untill you have clicked on it. They can still sell the item because you can PM them. |

Perhaps they should also delete all the threads that talk about rule breaking, you know the type, I got away with import tax, I told my insurance the board was locked when it wasn't, I smoke weed, yada yada ......as they should be more important.........................or we could just 'GET A LIFE'  |

I don't like deleting stuff and will normally only do so when it's blatant spam or gets a bit nasty. Locking something is a fairly visible warning and the mod will normally say why it's locked. Sure, one of our more trivial rule like missing "FS:" at the beginning of a for sale thread is not the end of the world and they can still sell their stuff, but nobody can ask questions and the poster can't update the thread. The idea is they soon get the hint.

Not at all Danny , had post removed as ppl on GB are sensitive souls , plus a mate on there is a mod and usually pm's me
If i have something to say i say it ....... 
I do know some ppl who did get banned for vey odd reasons too |
